London Half Term

We went to London for a day in half term.

Build-a-bear in Covent garden always has to be first port of call.
We walked to the Tate Modern and stopped along the way for our packup.
We weren't overly impressed by the Tate Modern, if you want to know why, look here.

We treated ourselves to a taxi ride to Harrods.  The driver was lovely and gave us the full commentary through Westminster, passed Buckingham Palace etc.

We had dessert at YooMoo in Harrods.  It was truly delicious and outstanding service.

We had a walk around the toys.

We went to Westminster Abbey (as recommended by the taxi driver) but it was already shut so we walked to Whitehall. We saw the Pelicans on St James' Park.

Then we spotted the Cabinet War rooms were still open.
A good day out, and we even managed to get on the right train home first time this time!
