We went to South Australia to visit Aunt Verna. She baked us a chocolate cake (Jon's favourite).
We stayed at a lovely hotel right on the seafront at Gleneg

Tim flew to Adelaide for the evening just to see us.
Adelaide and Gleneg were lovely. The people were very nice too.
We rode a tram and bus, had a walk through the city and drove all round the hills.
There was a pleasure beach house near the hotel. Harriet rode the water slides, we played mini golf (again!), went on all the amusements and Harriet rode a bumper car alone for the first time.
It was pretty windy up in the hills - this was on Mount Lofty - Jon had to buy a jacket there as it was quite cold.
