Well the trees were cropped. The garden is definitely lighter and less oppressive. By the way, these photos were taken at 10pm. It almost refuses to get dark here this time of year!
We have spent yet another weekend clearing back shrubs that are now too big for the garden. We have filled 7 wheelie bins (green recycling ones) - not including the trees, so regardless of whether it is as good as it could be it is time to stop!
Still it's looking good, and so is Jon, he has been working hard and the weight loss is dramatic, he's a fit man ATM.
As an aside, our raspberries (first time grown) are doing really well and we have some ripening. The strawberries are coming on strong and will be picked soon and the tomatos are now flowering well. The capsicums were attacked by snails early on and I gave up on them today and took them out, a shame as I was hoping to put them into the village show this year!
